Medical Negligence
Sometimes doctors or hospitals do not properly treat their patients which can result in long term suffering. Depending on what treatment was performed improperly and what injuries or damages result, a claim may be made. Medical malpractice claims are complicated and must be reviewed by a medical expert to determine whether the standard of care was not followed. Then the medical expert must agree that the injuries or damages were caused by the failure to follow accepted medical standards. It is important to contact our office as soon as you suspect that there was improper treatment. There is a statute of limitations on bringing a claim which is normally two years from when you knew or should have known that there was medical negligence. Again you do not pay attorney's fees or costs unless or until a settlement is reached or there is an award and money is received.
